If using a Heli coil he would have to hog out the hole and install that Heli Coil kinda deep or it would be protruding into the mount cradle 6mm Heli Coil kit costs over $30 it comes with 8 coils. It's always good to have Heli Coils If the 1/4" strips out then he can install a Heli Coil
