Mounting post

One of my front mounting post got stripped out. Just over hand tight. It wont tighten. Is there an epoxy I could use to solve this problem. Or do I have to rethread with a larger bolt?

Several people have had success using a 1/4-20 bolt to replace a 6mm, it's worth a try.

Try the 1/4-20 trick first.

1/4" x 20 tpi is the lest expensive and easiest fix, Just tap the stripped hole and get 1/4"x 20 studs or all thread and make your own.

If using a Heli coil he would have to hog out the hole and install that Heli Coil kinda deep or it would be protruding into the mount cradle

6mm Heli Coil kit costs over $30 it comes with 8 coils. It's always good to have Heli Coils
If the 1/4" strips out then he can install a Heli Coil
