Muffler and quieting techniques

Would anyone care to share ideas on quieting my bike? Is there a better more quiet muffler available? I have clamped it in a number of places yet it just transfers the sound.

You failed to mention............2 stroke or 4

Try adjusting your needle you might be running too rich, burning fuel inside your exhaust.
I took mine up just one notch it cut out about 50% of the sound it was so damn noisy.

The kit mufflers tend to rattle.
