So, I got a slide on muffler for my bike. I have an expansion chamber for it, but the size of the exhaust outlet is exactly the same as the muffler inlit. As ideas?

Get a 1" silicone joiner & a coupla clamps off Ebay. ..and no, it won't melt. The exhaust temps has already cooled enough by the time it's gotten to the tip of the pipe plus the joiner is rated to be used for turbos and radiators in cars. Also I've already tested it in this very application as shown in my pic.
U can get it in different angles - u just have to look.
By the way the end of the muffler with the curved tip is the inlet and the end with the bolt-on tip is the outlet but it'll function the same eitherway.

Do I get a 1" even though my exhaust is also 1"? And so is the muffler? And would this work to join them?

They are bendable, so they should slide right over the exhaust and muffler too, right?

If it's a silicone exhaust coupler you should be good to go. Even if your pipe is a little bigger than the coupler it will squeeze over it. Yes they are flexible.
