Engine Trouble Murphy's law

Nope it was on the clutch plate was in the right direction, just the lock screw stripped and was a pain to remove.
Still nothing adjusted the flower but. So, just to make sure I'm on the same page as everyone, with clutch cover off and the clutch engaged the gear surrounding the clutch cover should spin or with the clutch not engaged? Either way the gear isn't turning now, so I'm assuming it's the woodruff key.
 
With the clutch disengaged (lever pulled in) just the plate should spin. With the clutch engaged (lever released) the gears should spin and turn the engine over.
 
Okay yeah, I understand now. Sorry this is my first build with little to none motor knowledge.

Currently, with clutch engaged it spins freely, no gears turn.
