So what comes with a normal kit is kinda simple ,but are there modifications for the engine? to make it better or faster?
Thanks

Matching the jug to the transfers in the case is worth a ton of power, as is porting the stock jug since they all have varying amounts of core shift and mis-matched/blocked ports.

As far as more simple mods, gasket matching the intake and exhaust and cleaning up the burrs in the cylinder is easy. Also clean the cylinder well with hot water and dish soap before running since not all vendors go through the engines before sale and its common to have shavings and metal bits floating around. You'd be surprised and what falls out of a brand new cylinder.

Take the clutch apart and clean the parts with brake cleaner and adjust it correctly. May want to scuff the pads with 400 grit paper and clean again. I add spring pressure for more holding power. Plenty of on the forum for the proper procedure.

Port work/matching/timing, gasket trimming, after market head, expansion chamber and air filter, squish clearance adjustment, carb. jetting, over all inspection of things that are loose or could become so in the engine.
