my carburator is leaking gas

Call me sceptical but i'm still not convinced your carby is right....did i get or are u using an inlet manifold cos by your pics i can't see one?

About the manifold and the carb...

Hey brother... well.. yes about the manifold.... ehhh.... well when i first started placing the engine on the bike i didnt knew it had to be leveled or i didnt knew anything at all... is not that i know a lot now.... but am getting there... well.. because the way i was placing the engine on the frame it didnt fit the carb then i just cut the manifold in the curve and just left it without the folding part.... it has been working all day.... have no problems with anything untill now... but yes i have to get another manifold just in case... the only thing i see abnormal is a lot of smoke coming out from the pipe... but i guess that''s normal due to the flooding of my engine with gas and because it is new.... am riding it about every 30 minutes just around the neighborhood but am not speeding so i am trying to work the break in of the engine... about how far can i go after the fisrt two fuel tanks are done? oh and also... all manifolds come in the same size?

Well i feel so goooood today! after one week i could make it run and it runs smooth :) next month i will start working on the upgrades...

Your system was originally designed to work with that intake so it's probably a good idea to have it....ppl sometimes change theirs according to particular needs but it's still their in some shape or form.
IF u get around to it get that manifold and also o-ring the carby:

Since your engine is new your probably running 16:1 so don't worry about smoke etc,that's normal....just take at easy for awhile UNTIL u extend the ratio to 20:1,25:1
These engines are gutless & inconsistant till their run-it(approx 150-200 Mls)
After the first few fuel tanks you'll be able to go as far as u like..........don't worry man,you'll give-out before the engine.

Hey brother thanks a lot for the advice! yeah i will get the manifold.... but what is an O- Ring?? oh and that's cool that they can go far.... i though i couldnt ride more than 15 miles or 20 miles on it.... but yeah am almost done with my second fuel tank... i'll just keep woking out the break in so that i can go cruise around town with it
