My chop chop

Hi im from Oz and this is my 2 stroke Schwinn in progress... I've done the usual mods including a severe dose of heavy porting.

I got bored so I polished the engine covers to a mirror finish - I reckon this looks much better than the same crappy slotted cnc covers that everybody has.... I also did a little porting and port-matching with the inlet manifold...

I've ordered a aftermarket cnc head as well as a 4 litre fuel tank that should arrive very soon... I'm gonna give the head a skim to raise the compression slightly just to give it shooting match a little more oomph... let's see what happens aye... lol

Check it out

This is how I mounted the 4 litre tank, flipping the bracket and attaching to the top bar of the frame - got the idea off a few of the other guys, but instead of drilling holes in the bar and using screws, I spot-welded the brackets to the frame and bolting the tank to the brackets... looks tidy and believe me - it's super sturdy, I can pick up the entire bike just by grabbing the tank !

Boredom got ahold of me a coupla days ago, so I went digging in the shed just to see what damage I could do.... I'd found a pile of surplus parts I'd had sitting around that was left over from a big-horsepower build of my late 90's model Nissan Skyline. There was all sort of goodies including a brand new unopened-in-it's-original-box ball bearing Garrett turbocharger rated to flow no less than 650 hp.... hmm....the size of this thing wasn't far off a motorcycle helmet LOL ....just a tad too big to amuse myself the totally stupid idea of an attempt to make it work in our China-doll application... Ha... okay okay I'm stupid at times, but not THAT stupid.

Anyways, after a giggle from the stupid mental image in my mind of this insane idea of a turbo that's larger than the 2-stroke engine itself hanging off the side of it LOL, I found some intercooler silicone joiners, filter elements and a few other pieces and managed to create an air filter setup with it's own shield made from some hand-polished sheet aluminium.... check it out... hope you guys approve... :)

It should have a rolled edge on that protector. Your nick name will be Chop-chop for sure if you go for a tumble and get your hand under that.
Lol the edge has been sanded n polished smoothed and it's of a thin aluminium sheet, it'll get bent and get destroyed before any part of my body gets cut. I'm not suicidal lol

My new engines have arrived !! Paid AUD $109.99 each kit so I initially thought they'd be the older style kits that nobody wanted hence the cheap price but I grabbed them anyways just for the parts and i wanted the engines to experiment porting with.... but when they arrived this morning, I realised they are the upgraded version with the 'open' style booster ports in the cylinders so bonus !! Also the quality of the casting is awesome ! Absolutely no imperfections in the cooling fins what so-ever... check it out !
