It's not the prettiest bike out there, but it works great. About 15 miles on new engine.

Thanks! I'll ride as safe as I can. Can only say so much for the drivers in my area, been hit by a car twice. Once was a drunk and other was failure to yield. Made it through though
 
I built one like that a couple of bikes ago. Try to get the motor level in the frame, you'll save yourself some issues.
Yea, see if you can get your carb level. If you go down a steep grade you could possibly run it lean, and grades sure make you pick up rpms.

I achieved this leveling of the engine by making my own front engine mount using a piece of rollbar from a junkyard ATV...Pics of my bike are below so you can see how level it is as well as a look at the front engine mount...DAMIEN

What a beauty, perfect MAB. Keep an eye on that tensioner, those types have caused a lot of grief for folks by twisting into the spokes and ruining your day. Lots of choices out there that are safer.
