my dorkbike

it's a trooper in winter, don't let the whitewalls fool you. under inflated tires and taking Calgary's pathways makes for a good ride

Kinda was expecting some sort of "spiked tires".

Gotta hand it to you though. When I head south, and folks ask how I could do it in winter, I'll send accolades your way. Make outraging statements like "those maple leafers are tougher than you hillbillies".

Thats what I tell em, "if them northerners can do it, so can I."

Brrrrrrrrr, clenching my teeth the whole time. :???:

brrr...i ride in the extremes of washington state, too, not as bad as you have to put up with, tho. it's mostly just chilling rain for me, mtb tires grip wet asphalt really well, & my full rainsuit makes for a lot of double-takes from the cagers :)

looks like a solid ride, how's the lubrication affected by the temps?

once it hit 15 I figured I'd pack it in for the winter and take the bus again.

once every week i grease up. the road salt and snow dry the drive chain fast. i'm more worried about the road salt affecting my rock shocks. Salt and magnesium don't mix?
