My engine skipping revs? Sparkplug not firing.

After a while of riding my engine starts to Jerk and when I clutch in at that time the engine skips revs and I cannot reall go further. I tried changing the CDI and it worked then the same thing happened then I connected it to old CDI that I thought was not working it worked again? What could be the problem here? Its like when I ride with this CDI for like 15-20 minz it kinda starts to skip revs and doesnt spark. But when I change the CDI it works again.

Since it is doing the same thing with 2 different CDI's I would change the plug. It may have a defect that does not show itself until it reaches a very high temperature. Stranger things have happened. Good luck.

I just had another thought. Is the CDI mounted in a place where it gets very hot? Although it is unlikely, the CDI's could be reaching a temp where they thermally shut down.

YES!, I think I got it, I was riding around for about 1 hour and no skipping. I think that was exactly the problem. CDI getting hot from Exhaust.

I Would like to know what NGK plug is equivelant to th stock RAVE 80 cc plug(NHSP LD Z4) ?? I'm at 5500 F.A.S.level. What plug will help me all around?
