My first build ideas.

Im not completely familiar with all the varieties of components yet but my ideas will center around a Giant mountain bike Ive had in the garage for years.
This project will be both nostalgic and practical for me. I am almost retired and live part time in mexico where the roads are treacherous at best.
Ill start with the Giant MTB ,Grubee Skyhawk 66/80, Sick Bike jackshaft kit, expansion pipe. Eventually upgrade the binders to discs. Lights and BIG horn.
Ill have to double check but I think my Giant has pretty beefy wheels and spokes. Anything major I'm forgetting? Anyone know the motored bike laws in Mexico? :2guns: Good to be aboard.

Hey Spacecowboy sounds like you have a good plan. I have a grubee 66cc and it runs great. Dont forget to upgrade all bolts and nuts, especially the engine mount bolts. And I read somewhere it is best to break the engine in before installing shift kit and expansion pipe but I could be wrong there. Good luck and have a blast.
