My new bike ate my shorts!

and just so you know that I was not 'buying time' - Here is what the stupid builder did. Ran the engine without removing the rag put there to protect it. 3 weeks delay in getting it going.
BUT!- Its now balanced to 62%, crank is within 0.00005" crank has 50% reduced volume. side plates and balance hole cork bungs. mild port work, 0.7mm squish. expensive main bearings and side seals, 22mm saw carbie and a opened up muffler.
coming soon- self built CDI with a massive capacitor and adjustable ignition timing courtesy of Mr Wolf on you tube- check his channel https://www.youtube.com/@MrWolfDiy
and, a Jog or KX80

I never thought I would see the day that I would finally meet a person in this hobby as obsessed and nerdy as I am when it comes to engine builds. Hell, you're even worse than I am! When I true a crank I am happy once I get both sides less than .001" My dial gauges aren't capable of hundred thousandths anyway, I have never needed anything that precise in my life thus far.

That stupid builder must be the same guy that installed the rear brake caliper on my ebike that forgot to actually tighten all of the bolts more than finger tight. Yeah, that guy is a real dunce.

That must be the same guy that made his own custom gaskets for his engine made one for his reed valve and forgot to cut the center out of it, couldn't get it running tried everything finally took the Reed apart sure enough there it was marked just as pretty as you can please

OH duh!- too many zeros! 1/2 a thou is what I meant. there is more movement on the dial from the machining marks than the run out. Ive got a video coming up on it, but I want to finish the vid with the bike running so itll be a few more days.

HELP! Ive got the engine back together and sitting in the frame, There is an issue with the clutch. The Bucky ball and pin are sticking out too far, I have the flower nut- very tight. The threaded rod that it pulls on is almost flush with the surface, yet the countershaft sprocket cover is still 1/4" away from seating properly against the case.
Please help me not to break anything!

I'm assuming the cable is not attached to the lever yet. The lever should swing out, and should give it clearance?
