My new off-road motored bike

This is my new motored bike, it's almost done, there are some minor details to end or fix, like finish the lighting system, or some fine tuning of the carb, but it's working fine for now.
The bike it's a standard 26 double suspension bike, the only modification to the bike was the fork, and the disk brake in front. The engine it's an argentinan engine brand da-dalt, which is a copy of a Motori Morini Italian moped engine. This engine has 50cc of displacement, reed valve admission, and a very thick aluminum crankcase, very robust with very very big bearings, it's almost indestructible, that's why i choose it ;). It has also an Dell'Orto SHA1412 carb, a CDI ignition and lighting coil (both separated circuits) with a ducati magneto, a steel/aluminum cylinder (painted with high temperature black spray paint), and a custom made exhaust (which I want to change soon because it's not the best in terms of power output).
The gear ratio was chosen for high torque, not final speed, so this bike climbs almost everything, and burn tires like nothing. It's very fun to ride because has very nice acceleration, and the engine has vibrations only at very high revs.
Here there are some pics, hope you enjoy this "rare bug" :p

If you ever get the time PLEASE,PLEASE make a U tube
video! I'm certain we all would love to hear it!
I think you have a real talent. You should build'em and sell'em! You would make a KILLING!

Thanks again Ozzy for your kind comments, this a hobby for me, so it's very much appreciated that you feel that i have a talent. But my real profession it's electronics, so i keep mechanics as a hobby to "un-plug" myself from too many "volts and electrons" ;)

I really must make a video of my new bike, but, meanwhile, i give this small video of how it sound my old bike with a expansion chamber. And i put a small attached pic so you can see the setup, because it's almost impossible in the video (too dark).
This is the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bjOZIO2gN1Q
(the sound it's really nice, the camera make no justice to him).
This is the pic of the setup in the video: http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j174/volker242/Bicimoto/BiciMoto_23_11_2007.jpg

Great job on the bike. BTW, I've been to Buenos Aires twice and love the city - one of my favorite places in the world! I may visit again this Christmas holiday.

Really nice job.
I bet that things moves. What's your top speed on the flats?
Can I also see a pic of the engine mounts?

Thanks guys for your kind comments.

shawnshank, answering to your question, yes, the bike it's one of the most funny bikes I ride. It has the perfect combination between power, acceleration, low end torque and high speed. Can climb easily on hills, and, on flat has a top speed of almost 70kph (43 mph), checked with a car speedometer. I think enough for a modified bicycle
I attach a close up picture of the side of the bike, where you can have a better view of the engine mount (which is indeed quite simple, just some U steel plates).

Well thanks shawnshank, it's good to hear that. Some people thinks "what is this monstrous thing?!" and "why you spend time and money in "that"", but, well, may be I'm like Dr. Frankenstein, I love my monster made of severed pieces of other things :p

Thanks again and again guys for your positive feedback :D

nice looking MB
I like your engine a lot -- are they still making them ??

off road MB -- got to love it !!!

ride that THING off road

Mountainman, I must say, It's the funniest thing I ever ride, big and powerful engine in a small frame, plus an absolutely nice sound from the exhaust (identical of an 2T off-road bike) make the feeling of riding even better.
I think the engine still in production, but I do not know for long, unfortunately Chinese four strokes (70 to 110cc) are taking over the market, and it's really impossible to compete with their prices (but this 2T are everlasting, and the chinese engine doesnt withstand the missuse of food delivery guys :devilish:)
