And they changed the name from Bordens to "Brandons", with the so-called VP as "Kowmala the Kow" now that they have retired good old Bessie...lol.
It finally happened I wrecked Rover
I was riding the dirt trails at the dry lake bed at maximum speeds today 20+ mph
I came upon a really sandy patch of trail so I got off into the weeds where it's hard dirt.
I didn't see an old tree stump under the weeds, I hit it with my pedal sending me flying over the handle bars head first into that big pile of sand I was trying to avoid
Luck me it was sand
Bent pedal
My helmet see the skid marks from the gravel sand
Shifter don't work anymore It's broke
Broke one of my water bottle holder too
Parts have already been ordered I'll fix her up soon
On the bright side I hit that tree stump soo hard it ripped it out of the ground So I don't have to worry about that hidden stump anymore

It was a classic face plant and slide
I groomed a path thru the sandThat Helmet actually kept my face out of the sand But it was full of sand when I took it off, Sand got in thru the air holes
I'll be slowing down and thinking twice when not sure
Now you will have to fix this bike too...Just don't take so long this time like ya did with the Whizzer...lol...I don't pay you to be just lollygagging around you know...lol...lol.
