Thats because you used a hosting service rather than a direct photo insert from your computer uploaded to the forum posting...This is what I got when I clicked on what used to be a picture.

Normally it's not a problem. I use the hosting service because I don't have to mess around with modifying the picture size. The site can't handle my 50mp pics, and I refuse to reduce my quality.

They must be purging after so much time has elapsed or someone has been able to break into your account and wreak a little damage.

not sure. there is no pattern to it, just random sections of one album are gone. They were probably lost after some server issue.

That's a distinct possiblity, I never did trust any sort of cloud storage so I do not use it myself.

Everything I need or want including music video library, movies, pictures, documents etc. are stored not only on my computer, but also on USB sticks and I make multiple copies of those in case any of the others go bad for whatever reason.

Best backup system ever...lol.

Good idea! I usually wait until, "And it's gone." I'm trying to be more proactive these days.
