My Riga-5

This is Latvian Riga-5 moped from middle 60-s, it has D-5M engine, 45cc 1.2hp. Currently it's ridable, but not very good looking.
The picture is taken at February and it was snowing really hard that day...perfect conditions for a little extreme ride.

Very Cool. That engine looks just like my Russian M-21. Leave it the USSR to be making the same engine since at least the 60's.

Actually, 1957
Also those chinese engines sold in USA are spinoffs from early russian ones. So chinese have produced the same engine even longer (the production of Russian engines stopped a few years ago)
