here's a couple of pics. of my current build. 10 tooth clutch and 54 tooth rear, with a 5 hp. B&S. Got brakes on the front, waiting for throttle cable.

Hey Yellow Beard,
What kind of performance do you get out of the 10 tooth to 54 tooth combo? Low-end torque?, high-end speed?

more high end speed, about 50 mph. Will take off on it's own. Hope this helps. Joe

Thanks Joe! I gave up building a few weeks ago but, a freind brow beat me into builing him a trike. I have a Comet CVT sitting on the work bench, ordered up a used Schwinn Chopper frame off Ebay, a trike conversion kit, and a 4.6 HP Honda 4 stroke. If the Comet doesn't fit the Honda, I'm going your route.
