took Quintons advice and aligned the clutch to flywheel then deglazed shoes
several times getting 90-95% contact then made small adjustments to carb.
Have learned a lot reading posts on this site Stickeys are most helpful. Its cold but the sun is shining so I'm going riding. Thanks again
 
Hey Old Whizzer,
Quenton & this forum Keep my bike running & keep it running fast. My bike would be sitting in a corner with a blown WC1 top end if I had never found this forum. Thanks to everyone here.
 
Yes, if it wasn't for this forum, I'd probably be looking at some expensive repairs on my NE5 engine once the original lifters' soft ends mushroomed out. Even at 296 miles they were shot!
