Need help with jet sizing and lean/rich condition

Hey yall. Had my bike for a while now and finally got around to fixing certain issues and want to conquer my carb now.

My bike seems to like to make this pinging and 4 stroke a ton (maybe the pinging noise is 4 stroking.) Once the engine gets hot enough though, the issues stop and it absolutely flies. Ive played around with the clip and theres no improvement on any level. I have checked for air leaks and believe that there are none.

I believe my bike is running lean and my spark plug leans towards being lean but I am looking for insight that others may have. My bike is a Zeda 100 Max stock. I have ordered a jet kit. Thanks all!.

It won't 4 stroke very much if it is running lean. They 4 stroke because it gets too much fuel to burn on the first stroke.

If it's a newer build, then just ride it some more. Don't expect too much from it until you get a few hundred miles on it.

That is when a two stroke engine gets too much fuel to burn on each stroke, so it fires every other stroke. Or, every 4th stroke.
