New Handlebars. I wanted to experiment with my hand controls, so I mounted my clutch lever as well as my ATV brake lever/thumb throttle in reverse of my hand grip. So the edge of my right palm lowers down as I lean forward and tuck, pressing the thumb throttle down. The brake lever is super comfortable to me this way. Hitting the clutch lever lock with my left pinky took a little getting used to. I had to get creative with my mirror situation too but strangely it's mostly vibration less and highly visible. Today my top speed after some adjustments was 34mph - a personal record on this bike. Stoked!
Anyways, I thought it what I did was slightly creative so I wanted to share some pics of my ideas. Plus, with these bullhorns, my bar end mirror won't work as it usually does. So I got busy with a hose clamp. Angles worked out perfect though, for visibility.
Overall this thing just got 10 times more fun to ride. the handlebars on top of my other performance tweaks resulted in a more stable, with less wind resistance, much faster, and way better gas mileage than previously, and I love it.
This past month I've put alot into this thing. New 415H chain, new tire, new higher quality forks, new seat, new seat post, new main jet for me carby, new front disc brake, and now these. What next?
