New bike or repaired whats all options?

hey every im trying to decide if i should buy a new bike or hire a Mechanic to fix & reattach the seat pole damage au can see in the picture. Do you think it can be repaired? if so please explain what i need to do & what is needed to repair it. if u think i need a new bike please let me know.

In my opinion, your damaged frame is not repairable. The seat tube supports the rider weight and absorbs most of the torque of the frame mounted engine. You don't want your bike frame to cause an accident on a busy Philly street.

ok thanks but if i buy a huffy cranbrook can't i put handbrakes on it?

Yes. You can bolt on BMX style caliper brakes.

on a coaster brake cruiser there is no brake mount on it for me to simply put it on. i think i would need a adapter
