Hi doing my first bike
learned a lot from you all already

eager to do a good job

70cc dax kit

I build it - not yet started ot but when I want to just pedal ride - can't

I do not think the clutch is engaged - I think I did all install properly - chain am be a bit off but I cant even test it since the bike is unridable

any suggestions

thanks for all the help

Welcome to the forum... I can think of 2 possibilities why you cannot pedal your MB:
1) The chain is stuck between the engine and sprocket. Try to check the clearance of the chain between the sprocket and the engine. The chain should not touch the crank case.
2) Your clutch is engaged. Try adjusting the locknut on the clutch cable. If it still does'nt disengage. Remove the clutch cover on the right side of the engine and adjust the flower nut counterclockwise.

Hope this helps.

Hello and welcome.

Great tips by Technocyclist. Here's a few more to add to the list....

Check the photos below and make sure you are engaging correctly.

Also I supplied a thread of a simular problem I had.
