they were easy to find in the old days
still should be
if it takes two D batteries should be 3 v
4 D batteries 6 v
found at most hardware stores
auto parts stores
and all bicycle shops should have them
we carried many many many different ones in our shop

its a 9v battery inside

yes they also made those
batteries don't last very long -- if only one 9 v
does the bulb have threads or not ??
some just slip in others have screw threads

if no threads -- common slip in 9 v
found at most hardwares
same bulb as used in flash lights using 6 D batteries

keep the THING clean !!!!

will it be brighter than whats in there now though?

no -- not by much anyway
when they work they work -- that's about it
now on the other hand if your bulbs are very old
there may be a more high tec bulb available ???????

from what I remember -- that type may not be the best to use on a motor bike
known to be a little weak
but if we are just wanting to stay legal -- should be fine

important with those to
keep glass and insides very clean -- every little bit of help -- helps

yea well its brand new but the bulbs are horrible. i went out and took one out and the bulb actually had threads on it. The bulb screwed into this plastic piece which slipped into the actual firewall or whatever its called.

What blub will i need for this? The bulb is very small
