hey guys im not really new to the hobby but im having a new issue that i cant figure out i got a new engine set it up it ran for about 30 seconds and died out on me so i put fresh gas and a new spark plug and it ran for about half hour then i stopped the motor and for the life of me cant get it to fire up again so i took it apart to check things out and there was a bunch of gas puddled in my muffler any ideas would be great thanks

The fuel in the muffler likley means you flooded the thing out trying to start it. If you have a lot of pre-mix sitting in the crank case it will be almost impossible to start. I would pull the motor off, put the piston at tdc and see if you can pour out the crank case through the intake port.

Otherwise, all of the normal tips and tricks apply. If you are still using the plug it came with, ditch it since they are a common source of starting issues and running problems. An NGK plug, BR6HS aka 3922 is the most commonly run plug for these engines, or a BPMR7A aka 6703 if you want to go with a saw plug.

If you haven't double checked the head torque, also a good time to do it. New engines need this done after basically every heat cycle through break-in, and even checked regularly afterward. Eventually they stop loosening as much once everything settles in.

k so I did what you suggested got the gas out of the motor put everything back together got a new sparkplug went to try starting it again and nothing it makes the brrrr sound before it fires up and I'm guessing there is enough compression because its pulling the gas into the muffler so I'm going to say compression isn't the problem and when riding the bike without the sparkplug in the motor but still connected to the sparkplug wire I can see that there is a solid spark so I don't think its spark so the only thing left that I can think of is the gas isn't a mix right or the premium gas that I'm buying isn't good quality gas... now what i have been doing to mix the gas is buying echo 100 ml power blend gold 2 stroke engine oil and putting it into a 5 gal jerry can filled with pioneer's premium gas please share your thoughts i really need to get this bike running my kid lives with my ex and she cant be bothered to bring her to school so i gotta peddle my bike for 50 km round trip every morning to bring her to school even though my ex lives 2 blocks away anyway long story short any advice about the bike would be great thank you
