A 66cc china girl deathtrap with just a coaster brake and rear axle on the tip of the dropouts ready to be ripped out. At least you don't have a front fender, those can be deadly.

As I stated above, its a 66cc 2 stroke, the engines are like $90+. You can get em on bikeberry, spookytooth, zeda motorsports, bicycle motor works, kingsmotorbikes, gasbike, bicycle-engines, ebay, amazon and walmart's online store. I would avoid kings and gasbike, they have the worst customer service ever. Put front and rear rim brakes on it and get that rear axle in the dropouts some more.

Cool bike! Move that chain tensioner farther in towards the motor so you can move the wheel back. That will give you some room for the chain to have some slack. CrazyDan is right that axle is right on the edge of the dropouts, not good at all.

Curious, how did you come by it? Get it running and you'll have a lifetime hobby with a smile each time you ride trouble free. Relatively cheap hobby too.

Wow that sounds dangerous!! Do you know what cc it is? Where I can get parts? Or should I just get rid of it.

I think someone is being over dramatic. It does look neglected.

It could be a big PITA, or could be brought back with a minimum of new parts. The present 66cc engines would likely share many of the same parts as this bike's engine, You will still need to dissemble it and start inspecting it.

Use the stickied threads in the 2 cycle engine sub-forum for reference and help.

The bike would be better if it had hand brakes and derailleur gearing. I would budget money for new tires and tubes and a chain and sprocket for the coasterbrake hub and go over the entire bike for loose fasteners and out of adjustment bearings.

I don’t want to sound stupid. I’m new at this. I can help you with Model T Fords but not this. What is a dropout?

See the axle for the rear wheel?

It fits into slotted, stamped steel fittings welded into the ends of the stays from the seat and crank bits. Those are called dropouts, because once you loosen the axle nuts, the wheel should sometimes just " drop out" of them. You can also move the wheel forward and backwards in them to align the wheel, and adjust the pedal crank chain tension.

Ideally you should have the axle inside the slots a fair distance from the opening, ( roughly 3/4" or more..) so the axle washers can get a good bite on the dropouts and hold the wheel in place under the strain of pedaling and engine torque.
