Hey all-

Just joined and am looking for some insight on two Zeda kits I'm considering for a build.

First one up:

https://www.bicycle-engines.com/new-zeda-80-complete-80cc-bicycle-engine-kit-firestorm-edition/
This is the one I'm leaning toward buying. The clutch and grips seem a bit better quality.

And another Zeda:

https://bicyclemotorworks.com/product/zeda-black-6680cc-bike-engine-kit/
I like the engine upgrades, and the chain seems better quality that in the first kit.

So if it were you, which would you use? If there is another kit/brand I'm open to hearing about it. After all I'm here to learn!

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

there both equally good, if it were me id buy the first one (mainly because upgraded bearing and stuffed case)
my friend has the first one, says its really good for the price.
(i helped him build it, the 8mm studs are what you really want in a motor, not the 6mm ones)

but there both the same motor, you cant really go wrong with ether one

id also look at pk80 motors as well, ive heard good things about them,

Thanks! So with the PK80, how do I know if I'm looking at a real one? I've seen the name "PK80" Attached to at least 6 different brands. Very confusing.

The real ones have a bigger crankshaft (its hard to tell, but they also have smaller case ports)
Runwell makes the real pk80, the rod will be stamped with ZAE80, the stroke is also 40mm (most of the time fakes have 6mm studs, so beware of ebay)
