New here. Bought a phantom 85v3

With any double walled rims inspect them thoroughly for lose shards. I even lies using a pressure up against each hole to wash it out. I once kept getting flats. The holes in the tubes was always to the very inside of the tube. Upon inspection of the rim I discovered the shards in the hollow area of the double walled rim.

I went ahead and edited your posting by adding those pics of the bikes that you had been thinking of using, just in case someone knows more than I do about not using them verses getting the Hyper Beach Cruiser...Just waiting for @Gordy to chime in...lol.
I have a hyper frame with the Phantom V3 fits great

Thank you for your reply to this new member today and also welcome to our forum as I see you are also new to us today...lol.

The Hyper is becoming a bike of choice these days for ease of building with a motor as well as it's strength and durability...I've been running my Hyper for a total of over 5 years now where it started life with another motor for its first two years...lol...Mine now also has the Phantom.

I was just trying to build something cheap with what I already had laying around. And ride in the fields at 20-30. I get all the safety and stuff and I would like to get a beach cruiser eventually. But Im just looking to shove it in something and ride. Im not trying to max out the capabilities of the phantom. Yall have whole builds that looks like another 500$. Disc brake conversions. Wheel swaps. Yeah a wheel falling off at 50 on asphalt would hurt. But I’m in the dirt at 30. Neither of these frames would work at all? I don’t want to waste my whole 6 month warranty on building a beach cruiser with disc brakes. I want to ride it now. I want to buy something on fb marketplace and slap it on and ride it.

If you feel you want to do that, just remember, I had already warned you that the Phantom is extremely unforgiving if you do not do everything right, from the very beginning.

I have a motto I use especially when talking about Phantoms.

"It is one thing to just strap a motor on a bicycle and expect it to work, It is quite another thing to carefully, methodically and mathematically, (whilst keeping the laws of physics in mind), to build a motorised bicycle that actually DOES work"...DAMIEN

A little bit of prayer doesn't hurt either...lol

The problem with the phantom is it will tear apart anything short of what I've built. It'll rip a rear wheel to shreds on a rag joint, especially on off-road. Off road and a stiff chassis bicycle don't mix. You'll probably want ti at least use a motorcycle rear wheel for off-road with the phantom, but that makes it difficult to ride.

But... It will probably fit in the Ridgeland just fine.

I don't have a phantom on my hyper anymore... But I guess I can help.

You'll want to upgrade the wheels. Something with disc brake mounts so you can run a sprocket on the rear. A cnc front mount for sure, and if you can upgrade it to discs.

This is my bike...

It now has a ported Avenger 85, but had a phantom on it previously. It's a nice fit.

But do not run the stock wheels, they will fall apart, and pull the fenders off
I am currently waiting the arrival of the menace 85 smolick proformace I've heard good things about it ... Do you have any experience with the Menace

When it comes to building ask "What is my life worth?". A wipe out/failure on a bicycle isn't the same risk as a wipe out/failure on a motorized bicycle. The reason is you have extra weight and a highly flammable liquid with you during the crash.
