Hello!

Just bought a EZ1-SX and plan on converting it over to electric. I am looking for info on motors and battery packs.

Specifically:
If speed is was measured with a average person, how much slower will the system be with me being ~75 lbs over that.

What major advantages are there with hub style motors and motors that add an extra chain in the mix?

Hello and welcome,
I was electric for a couple of years. Lead Acid battery have a good duty cycle
but are heavy. I used a tire scubber motor and all was well. I have never seen a
hub style motor that used a chain, but battery technology has to improve.

Anyway, have fun here!
