Hello!
I'm Mike Cox from Waterford, MI.
I've had motorized bikes for about four years.
My first was built out of a 20" 7spd. Nashiki mountain bike and a 2hp.edger motor.
Removed the peddles and mounted a pulley right the the crank.
It was crazy but fun while it lasted.

Now I have an old 60's? Schwinn heavy-duti With the 2 stroke frame mounted motor kit. Originally I bought an "80cc" Kingsmotors kit off ebay, which lasted about a summer. Somehow I got a washer in the cylinder and shredded everything.

I don't know what kind of motor I have now, it's another 70cc but not as fast, but it has lasted much longer.

I came here for all the info, which saves a lot of time figuring out what works.
Also enjoy looking at all the pics of everyone elses bikes.

Now if I can figure out how to post em I'll stick my pics up.

Read thru the some of threads in the "Forum Help" area about pic posting issues other have ran into, maybe there is an answer to your issue there.

Once u figure out how to post pics and IF they still won't work properly try resizing them smaller...smaller(within reason) means they upload quicker with less chance of error.

welcome to MBc...the older the better on the bike they can always be painted...lol here is an imagresizing tool if ya need it? http://www.imageresizer.com/ or this one...http://www.photobucket.com/..hope good luck on your build..there are allot of good info if ya read read read...have a good day and happy motoring...
