New kit problems!

My 66cc engine kit came in from ebay today. Everything has gone well until now. One the clutch doesn pull in toward the engine it doesnt even disingage the engine. 2. I put the chain hanging off the engine sprocket and pulled to see if the engine sprocket would move and it wouldnt. I am wonderinv if the problems are related and the enginw is locked up.

Try taking the cover off and rotating the clutch arm

When you say the clutch doesn't move toward the engine are you talking about the arm not moving? If so the cable is not adjusted right. Also remove the spark plug and try of rotate the engine by moving the sprocket or putting the chain on and rolling the bike around, when rolling the bike you should hear the piston cycling up and down.

The clutch arm is supposed to be pulled i toward the cable but instead it goes the other way
