Greetings to all. I bought a Currie electric bike a little over a year ago and had a blast riding it but it lacks range (5-6 miles), so last summer I purchased a Schwinn Landmark and a Staton friction drive kit with a R/S engine. No problem with range but the hills around here are "killers".

Lot of good information here and I have learned much.

Two bikes are not enough. Going to build another one.

I would love to see a electric bike with say a 60 mile range.
that would be awesome..
it won't be long, battery technology is rapidly advancing every day ..
