[ Im A new member to this site. I live in central PA. Im ready for my
second mb I have what`s left of A schwinn mtn bike 48cc Grubee motor
it seized on me. It was running good I was going up A step hill
I left it come to A dead stop with out useing the clutch.When I went down the other side of the hill it would not start untill I went to about 15 mph
and it had no power when got on flat ground it gradually slowed to A stop.
When I got home and took it apart. The rings were seized in there groves.
I decided to buy A bike and motor combination,that way I got A chance
to get something that will fit together. I hope.

I'll bet you could put the seized engine up on the buy/sell MB.section and get a few nibbles.

Hi Cig, when you went down the hill- was the engine spinning? And did you have the throttle set at idle?

No the motor was spining I have A cat eye speedometer on it .It got to 15 or 20 mph before it would start.then slowly died on the flat ground.
