So, I merged the two threads together.
 
I dont have you engine or kit but is there a twist type adjuster on the throttle
handel? Is it a twist grip throttle or a lever? Look at both ends of the throttle cable.
One of the ends should have an adjustment. It may look like a brass nut that the cable
runs thru, turn the adjustment to make the cable housing longer.
Most cables have such an adjustment on one end or the other.

My fault. I posted in 2 different areas because I didn't figure that everybody reads every post in every category. So I was trying to get my question out there to possibly be answered soon.

I will try these suggestions and report back on the motor starting problem.
