Hello all. My name is David and I recently lost my car. Instead of going to the bus stop I picked up my 10 speed and started riding everywhere. I always stink when I get to point B so I decided to put a HT 2-stroke 80cc on my ride to make things easier.

This has proved nothing short of a waste of my money (so far).

I'm joining this forum in an attempt to better understand the scrap metal I bought and the even worse instructions that came with it.

So far my bike just weights 20lbs more. I have a feeling the throttle doesn't work at all and that's ignoring the fact that I couldn't even get all the parts together. If there is a walk-through that I didn't find in my searches here please point me towards it!! Im sure y'all will see me plenty in the 2-stroke section trying to figure out this complicated puzzle.

    Hello S.O.G.

Happy to have you aboard. All you ever want to know about your 2 cycle frame mount Happy Time is here. Check the Frame Mount forum, it will take a little reading and if you don't find what you want, post a question. These things can be frustrating but once you've got it "dialed in", you'll be glad you stuck it out.

Welcome to the forum. Because you need immediate transportation, I'm assuming that you did the assembly very fast.
These motor bikes are intolerant of haste. The basics are what matter when assembling the motor kit. Take your time and learn as you go.
Once your kit is dialed in and running well, you will enjoy it.

buy a golden eagle kit... a chimp with a wrench could install it in less than an hour. Totally reliable, smooth, easy to operate. Get the kit with the 4 stroke robin/subaru eho35... a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay for. I just got back from running my errands.... I spent 3.5 hours riding around and loved every minute of it. Best part about it is that I dont stink afterward.

here is a link to my bike...

and to the GEBE site... the last kit at the bottom is the one I have. I love it!!!

Thanks for the advice, ill be saving up for a 4 stroke as they look far superior to the Happy Times motors :p I like the rear placement too, no troubles with clearance.
