New on forum and need help

guys I found the carburetor I will buy (21)mm https://a.aliexpress.com/_omHOSiA reed valve has 2 intake port I will install the 32-40mm,
https://tr.aliexpress.com/item/1005...48282484236-05653-_oC6IlFc&tt=MG&aff_fsk=_oC6 and I found this link plastic which size should I order

The one I posted is smaller, and the tube where it connects is the same size as the reed valve.


I'm honestly not sure.

Like we said, 21mm is probably gonna be too big. Up to you though. Might work, but if not ya can't say we didn't warn you lol.

And as to the size of the tube. Again. Listen here. The reed valve will bolt on to the engine. The tube will clamp to the reed valve, and then clamp to the carb. The tube on the reed valve....

...is 25mm.

The engine side of the carb you want to get....

...is 35mm. You would need an adaptor or something to make it work. 35mm to 25mm. If it's even doable.

@Johnny_ i have idea If I widen the diameter of the 25mm valve by 5mm to 30mm and install the original connection piece, will it be ok?

I see. And clearly the 21mm works for him.... tho it might not be optimal. So maybe you can just clamp it down, and if it's still too big wrap some inner tube or something around the reed valve to bring the size up. So yeah. Good luck!
