I run Cheng Shin white wall classic knobbies , I even used Cheng Shin back in the 80s on my Beach cruiser
I like this style tire and I've come to trust Cheng Shin tires as they have never had any defects in their quality in the 30 years I've been using them
This is the style tire and tread pattern that would of been on a Whizzer in the 40s-50s-60s-etc...
The tread is for road, sand and gravel basically an all purpose tire, The original Duel Sport Tire for bicycles
I use regular inner tubes but I saved the skin of an old Heavy duty inner tube and I put that over the regular tube to make an extra thick heavy duty tube
All done and ready to install back on my Whizzer
The rear tire will last me about 1,500 miles and I don't wear em bald either, I believe in keeping good tread on my ride
