Hey all, this is my first post. My first question for anyone, is a fuel filter for a 66cc Skyhawk kit really necessary? Bought my MB off a company (a few guys who make them out of their garage) and I love my bike, but it has a straight fuel line to the valve on top of the carb. Is a fuel filter needed at all?

Hi Aw, there may be a filter of sorts in the tank, but I always run a little in- line filter before the carb. It's called insurance. You don't want crud in the carb.
