Hello fellow moterheads just found the site earlier thought I would pop in and say hi !
I am a 47yo father of 4 and grandfather of 3.5..yep my oldest is about to give birth :D
into anything with wheels, I am an a.s.e. certified automotive repair tech
(glorified term for an auto mechanic) it pays the bills .
Look forward to learning or sharing what I can here.

My friends call me Mark...feel free
I ride mostly vintage schwinn bikes but here in Norcal its more mountain bikes
and bmx so I am a minority 'round these parts.

Schwinns are good, vintage is better !!

Glad to have a mechanic on board, remember F.A.S. (fuel/air/spark) is the troubleshooter guide in this fun hobby !

Bad gas will get us everytime.

Welcome Mark,
You might regret identifying yourself as a certified mechanic in a frorum that can use your talents so baddly.
I am not saying that we are all dummies here but their are alot of young or newly interested people here who can surely use the help.
And yes even myself!
Anyway, you are welcome.

Welcome to MBc. When I read your intro, I got a great visual of you on a motored vintage Schwinn, zipping past a bunch of spandex clad Mountain Bikers.
