newbie in Oregon

well first let me say.....maybe. My location...Lebanon Oregon ( down near OSU etc). I was getting ready to order a kit when I decided to do more research. So I joined this forum and did searches but am getting conflicting info on how legal these bikes are in Oregon....that's why I say maybe a newbie...hopefully I can hear from a real orgonain that has a bike and what the laws are........so hopefully....im a new member to stay
