Cheap engine, new build. On any given day, I can get it running and then ride around for 5-7 min and seems to be running ok. But after then, the engine seems to just die down until it dies altogether. If I try to start it right back, I get nothing. But If I let let sit for say 30 min, I can do about the same thing: it may run for a minute or two and dies out. Same story every day. Appreciate any help!!!

Start with retorqueing the head bolts and swapping the stock plug for a NGK BR6HS.
Have you been checking the top nuts on the head studs as far as proper torquing is concerned after each ride???
After each ride, during the time of breakin, they need to be retorqued once the engine has entirely cooled down so as to not strip out the threads the studs are anchored to.

I would also check your gas cap. Sounds like it may not be venting.
