Newbies stay away from bikeberry

The cheap kits can be ok. I have 4 of them and they are all just fine if you don't need the best and fastest. They do need to be checked over for casting issues around the ports. Decking the cylinder, intake manifold matching, a better wrist pin and some spacers on either side plus a NGK plug they are just fine for most uses.

I don't want to go much faster than 30 mph and if I can climb the hills were I live, good enough for me.

Ok ya I want reliability as well so mabey I'll just leave it lol
There are some decent 4 stroke kits out there for reliability, and even cheap chinese 4 strokes are halfway decently made.
Most kits will get you 25-35mph.
unfortunately I don't think there is a ton of mod parts like cams and stuff until you get to pretty silly sized engines.

A word on the Avenger- I have one and it kicks ass, but it's still a "baby" and the guy that sells them has questionable business practices- you will get no warranty and there have been duds.

Oh, lastly, don't fall victim to giant carbs, dual spark heads and the like, they don't do anything but drain your wallet.
