Next Venice Board Track Racer

  1. Here's a quick pic of one of my new Board Track Racers... (I'm building three)
    It's not quite done yet, so I'll post more pics when it's done.
    It's a 1950 Schwinn Panther & the frame & fork are powder coated.

  5. Here's todays progress... all that's left is to weld a pipe hanger & a custom lay-back seat post!

    Wicked.....I love this bike. Is this bike not going to use a chain tensioner?
    Also the mount for the disk brake is something I could use asap
  7. Nope, no chain tensioner!!
    I sell those disc brake mounts for $15.

    Beautiful Bike Norm!!!!! You dont happen to make those seat posts too do you? I could use one for My schwinn. I agree about the website need a little more info at least for just those sweet parts you sell

    Hey VMB. I love your bikes! Are you running 24" wheels or 26" with your frames?

    Im building a boardtracker from a Walmart Cranbrook. Im debating on using 24's or 26". Also im not sure how well the Wally wheel spokes will hold up using the Pirate cycle sproket adapter. I think the spokes are 12gauge.

    Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
  15. I use 26" wheels.
    The 12 gauge spokes will work as long you don't ride the bike extremely hard, but I prefer the 11 gauge steel cruiser wheels. ;)
