Hello everyone. Like everyone else here, I'm intrigued by motorized bikes and wish to learn more.

I love to ride small cc scooters and motorcycles. So I've decided to pick up a vintage bicycle and build my own motorized bike.

I haven't decided what motor to use yet. Though there's a few good looking and affordable 50s bikes near me. I'm going to take a look at a few this coming week.

Hi Renyolds ,
Using a bike from the 50s I think you should use a rebuilt old Whizzer Motor.
Of course it will cost you 5 times as much $ than building a 2 stroke .
But it would be a Classic and last a lifetime.
