Hi everyone,

So like the title says I am at my wits end with this little Chinese 80cc 2 stroke kit.

I simply cant get it to 1st start.

Engine has spark, but it doesn't want to suck fuel. Spark plug is dry. Even if I spray fuel into the carb, or even in the cylinder itself, it doesn't start. Not even a putter, a pop. Nothing. Zilch.

I opened up the cylinder, carb, it all seems fine. Bowl is getting fuel, but it doesn't go past the carb. Compression is good. Fuel is good.

Does anyone have any idea why this engine won't start? Is it possible that ports are not milled correctly and that the engine has no capacity to move air around? It doesn't seem to breathe/circulate air at all.

Pictures of engine in frame please.

Here are the pictures.

I did disassemble the carb the jet is clean. The only other problem I a think of thecarb is like 30 degrees from vertical (due to my frame being small). Could this be an issue, since the carb is float style (NT carb)?

Like I said, it doesnt want to suck fuel. Bowl is full (dripping when I press the tickle), jet is not clogged.

Factory issue? Engine head not built/ports not milled in correctly?

Doesnt want to start even if fuel is sprayed into the carb, or even into the cylinder.

Flipped magnet? I will try to 180 it. I don't know... flip the carb and the exhaust? If none of this works I will scrap the engine, it must be assumed it's faulty at that point.
