Engine Trouble No air leak and high idle

How does it run pulling a grade at full throttle? If it's still 4stroking, reducing jet size may be the answer.

These are simple carbs. When tuning my chainsaw, I hold the trigger under no-load and open the high jet until it begins to crackle. Then I run it, bearing down into a cut, and listen to the engine. I open the high jet a little more until it starts to crackle, and then adjust it back in until it runs clear. Load testing is the best way to determine the correct setting. I'm running a 32:1 mix in my bike, and it still 4strokes some under a low load up to about half throttle. It clears its throat after a bit. Does your engine seem to accelerate Ok?

It seems to accelerate real good. Lots of power with a 40 tooth sprocket. I just don't like how it bucks on deceleration from about any point unless I pull in the clutch.. that gets tiring with a lot of stop and go

What's your elevation? I'm at 3,000 ft and using stock carb and jet, runs fine.

660 ft my other motors and bikes have run fine too

Lots of oil coming out of the tail pipe too

Or if gas with ethanol is being used.

So what's the best gas to get? The ethanal free kind. Only certain gas stations have that. Which is fine I know one that has. Maybe that's my issue cuz I've been using 93

Yep, ethanol free is best with these Chinese 2 cycle motors, you do not need high octane gasoline with these motors either, they run perfectly fine on 86 or 87 octane.
