Got a customer who brought a yd100 says it don't run. Got no fire.
I tried:
Another rotor still no fire
Another ignition coil I had from a Chinese atv
Spark plug and wire
Tried adjusting the stator
Tried disconnecting the kill
Even tried keeping the kill button held in, still no fire.
The stator magnets aren't broken.
This got me scratching my head on this one

Something is grounding out, maybe. Look at your wires for insulation damage. Disconnect the kill switch till you find the problem. Is the CDI wired correctly? How are you testing for spark at the plug? Turning the wheel while up in the air? Just turning the rear wheel by hand might not be enough to test for a good spark. Hard to guess w/o being there.

I flipped the bike upside down and turned the pedals I checked all the wires for shorts. I wonder could an excess of carbon build up in the cylinder and the cylinder gasket be causing an excessive amount of insulation? Are gaskets conductive? I realize it's a bit of a long shot but it's the piston rings that are the only things providing a reliable pathway through the engine for its ground

The engine is ground, the cylinder studs ground the plug to engine.

Good point, forgot about those. Maybe the rotor magnets got too hot. How much resistance should the stator be reading? I'm getting around 330ohms

Have you kept the stater cover off and tried to start the engine to verify the stater spins? If it doesn't spin then the clutch is slipping and needs to be adjusted. The clutch plate needs to be tighter or the pads must be replaced. Also verify, if the stater does spin, that the gap is even on both sides of the stater.
