Replace plug wire
Hi,
Just holed the coil and unscrew the plug wire out, get a new wire and screw it back in. I set the air gap with a piece of paper between the magnets of the flywheel and field of the coil, metal ends, make sure you can turn the flywheel 360 degrees with out tounching the flywheel, except a little at the magnets, then you get a big Spark.
If your points are not grounded and everything is timed per specs, I moved the flywheel over without the sparkplug in, and holed the wire, should get a shock.
I bought a whizzer real cheap, because the guy bought a brand new coil that did not work, I fixed the old coil and it started right up , it's just like yours a 1947 on a 1947 columbia, with a brand new bi-lite system on it, I love it.
