Engine Trouble No throttle

I just put my new 80cc 2 stroke bike engine together it starts no problem but i have a problem i have no throttle please help ive tried everything adjusted the cable checked the slide nothing

Have you checked that the slide is moving with the throttle?

Is there no rev change at all or is it just bogging down when trying to accelerate

When you say you tried everything I kind of doubt that... Only because it's an overused statement of course that tends to prove wrong but anyway... Are you sure the slide actually moves when you twist the throttle? Or at least closes almost completely when let go? Those nt carbs with the barrel are easily assembled backwards with the cut in the barrel on the wrong side, you can assemble the carb wrong and start it but you'll have zero throttle response since it won't actually do its job.
