I was dinkin around in the garage today and have been fooling around with the idea of a velocity stack I couldn't find anything that really fit right or work properly until I came across an old stainless steel mixing jigger. The kind that looks like an hourglass. One side is shorter than the other.

I got them apart and utilized the bigger side and a little bit of liquid weld and attached it to the carburetor and low and behold ... My bike stop sputtering at top end and I gained 2 miles an hour.

I took it back off to reinforce my liquid weld but it's going right back on...

Don't laugh, you can use a plastic bottle too . just cut it and experiment with different shapes, lengths and sizes. It works

Thats right, I hadnt thought of that. There are hundreds of different shaped bottles that you could experiment with... As a matter of fact I'm looking at a sobe bottle right now I think I'm going to cut up and check it out! Good looking out big dog!

Have you ever messed around with the idea of a "forced air intake" like a vacume cleaner hose attachment modified to catching scoop air into the carb?

They make those trumpet stacks just for nt carbs, they are about 15 bucks and bolt right up. Some even come with a screen filter for a little more. They also make smaller stacks with a slide on cone filter and have a choke. All for our carbs. They are all over ebay.

Sweet thank you for the heads up! Its always nice to know where yo go to get specific parts, especially if you are trying to fine tune a bike!

It just caught my eye as a possibility and it worked.
