Forgive my ignorance - but when it says to use a 40 wt. motor oil in my Whizzer NE5 - are we talking about 10W-40? Or should I be looking for something that just says 40WT? I was at the local Autozone today and they only had 10W-40 - and when I asked the salesman for 40wt. he said that is what I need?

I am a bit confused....

I saw the date. The information is still pertinent today, yes?

You can use 20-50w oil It's better for hot air cooled engines.
20-50w with zinc is best to protect the lifters and cam, Vintage engines use it. and I use it with my 2005 NE-5 Whizzer
Others use synthetic oils and have no problems
But straight 40w oil is recommended for a Whizzer

So yea thanks for pointing that out. The info is still pertinent today But @MoonKS aint.
